We ship Tuesday through Saturday. If you pay via PayPal or Credit Card payment should be instant. PayPal e-checks generally take a few days to clear payment before we can ship them. Items that are already made and stocked will ship immediately. We give free priority mail shipping to orders over $100.00. More information on custom-made pieces follows.
We charge a flat seventy-five cent handling fee for all items we ship out for delivery confirmation. This helps eliminate lost packages, and provides you with a tracking number so you can see the status of your package. We cannot be held liable for packages lost or delayed by USPS.
Shipping insurance is available as an option. Insurance is included on Express Mail packages, but is highly recommended for Priority or First Class packages. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or broken during shipping if the package is not insured!
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For orders placed outside the US, we strongly recommend paying the extra for Express Mail International shipping! USPS does not offer tracking or insurance for priority or first-class international packages. Express Mail will come with a tracking number and insurance, so delay/loss of packages is a non-issue. Our shopping cart program will allow you to pay for shipping insurance on first-class and priority packages, but it is not an option through USPS. If you choose to pay for insurance during checkout on first-class or priority packages, we will ring up your total less the cost of insurance and your package will NOT be insured.
Because of high shipping costs free Priority mail shipping on orders over 100.00 does not apply for international orders. We will, however, credit your account with the cost of domestic Priority shipping for those orders. Choose your preferred shipping options and we will adjust your total to include the shipping credit.
Custom orders
For items/orders that need to be made and are made in-house (wood and PTFE jewelry) please allow up to two weeks for us to make your custom pieces. We try to make orders as quickly as possible and get them to you, and most often we get custom pieces made much faster than that. If you have a question about the status of your jewelry, feel free to contact us at any time. If your order contains both custom-made items and already stocked items and you would like the items shipped separately so you don't have to wait on them, you will have to order them separately.
If there will be any unknown delays on your order, or if we have any questions about your order, we will contact you ASAP with information via e-mail, so make sure that the e-mail you use as your login is a real e-mail address that you check fairly regularly.
We reuse/recycle as much packaging material as possible, so don't be bummed that your shiny new jewelry doesn't arrive in a shiny new package. Try to view the wrinkled re-used package as a veteran of the shipping world, and take comfort in the fact that it's in your mailbox instead of a landfill! In addition, we offer optional carbon-offset shipping through ShipGreen for those who choose to use it.
