We ship Monday through Friday. We accept: Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Items that are already made and stocked will ship within 1-2 days (Monday through Friday) after your order has been processed. More information on custom-made pieces follows.
We charge a flat two dollar handling fee for all orders. This is for the cost of package supplies and transportation to the post office. Shipping insurance is available as an option. Insurance is included on Express Mail packages up to $100, but is highly recommended for Priority packages as well. We highly suggest express mail for international orders as it is the only shipping for overseas orders with a tracking number. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or broken during shipping!
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For orders placed outside the US, we strongly recommend paying the extra for Express Mail International shipping! USPS does not offer tracking or insurance for priority international packages. Express Mail will come with a tracking number and insurance, so delay/loss of packages is a non-issue. Our shopping cart program will allow you to pay for shipping insurance on priority packages, but it is not an option through USPS. If you choose to pay for insurance during checkout on priority packages, we will ring up your total plus the cost of insurance. Otherwise your package will NOT be insured.
Custom orders
For items/orders that need to be made and are made in-house please allow around 2 weeks for wood, teflon and polymer jewelry and around 4 weeks for stone for us to make your custom pieces. We try to make orders as quickly as possible and get them to you, and most often we get custom pieces made much faster than that. If you have a question about the status of your jewelry, feel free to contact us at any time. If your order contains both custom-made items and already stocked items and you would like the items shipped separately so you don't have to wait on them, you will have to order them separately.
If there will be any unknown delays on your order, or if we have any questions about your order, we will contact you ASAP with information via e-mail, so make sure that the e-mail you use as your login is a real e-mail address that you check fairly regularly.
We reuse/recycle as much packaging material as possible, so don't be bummed that your shiny new jewelry doesn't arrive in a shiny new package. Try to view the wrinkled re-used package as a veteran of the shipping world, and take comfort in the fact that it's in your mailbox instead of a landfill! In addition, we offer optional carbon-offset shipping through ShipGreen for those who choose to use it.
Returns
Due to the nature of body jewelry and the custom sizing, we do not offer returns on any items. It is important to be as specific as possible when ordering your items. All pre-made pieces have all their dimensions listed. If you have any questions concerning a pre-made/in-stock or custom piece, ask before purchasing. We are also happy to send you more photos from different angles.
When ordering custom pieces, feel free to be as specific as possible. If there is anything we can do to make your jewelry more comfortable for you, we will gladly accomodate. Please keep in mind that this is a hand-made product. We try to keep our tolerances as close as possible, but expect hand-made products to vary +/- 1mm. To clear up any question when ordering, please review the following.
Sizes are listed in 1mm increments for simplicity and clarity. If you are unsure of the gauge system, you can easily see what sizes are larger. If you need a half size, simply order the closest whole millimeter size then leave a comment when checking out what size you prefer. For example, you can purchase a 6mm teflon labret and leave a comment that you would like it to be made with size: 6.5mm.
Length is measured differently for different jewelry and flare styles. Please review before ordering:
Disk back, tback and oval labrets: length is from the flare to the end of the plug (keep in mind room for an o-ring if you wear one)
Double flared and no flared plugs: length is the overall width from side to side
Single flared plugs: length is from the flare to the end (keep in mind room for an o-ring if you wear one)
If you request an o-ring groove, the length will be measured from the the flare to the o-ring groove on single flared jewelry and labrets and from o-ring to o-ring groove on no flared plugs.
